Cocoa beans that are purchased from the Ivory Coast and Nigieria currently use children to cultivate and harvest the land. Companies like Hershy, Cargill, and ADM buy Ivory Coast Cocoa and supply our federal government with chocolate harvested by children. So when you take a bite out of that tastey hershy and almond bar, know that you have just supported the inhuman treatment of a 9 year old boy.
I'm just saying...become more aware and concious consumers.

Thank you for this info! I am always interested in the truth. I also recently hears that the Mars company does animal testing. So horrible!!
ReplyDeleteNo problem! when I heard about this information, I was pretty upset and right then there I vowed to not purchase anything made by Hershey. I emailed Barbara Boxer and Dianne Fienstein regarding my concerns about this issue. I didn't know the Mars company engaged in animal testing. I will edef check that out, thanks!
